Hello and thanks for visiting! I'm Alix Kelso, author of heartwarming and emotional romantic fiction. I'm happiest with my nose in a book, and love being curled up with a good story for an hour or two. Reading is my passion.

 

I studied history and politics at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and after obtaining my PhD I became a university lecturer. Although I loved the academic world of teaching and researching and helping my students, I always enjoyed writing stories in my spare time. A few years ago, I decided to pursue my dream of publishing a novel and becoming a writer. When my first book, The Perfect Moment, went out into the world, I was over the moon.

I live in my home city of Glasgow, Scotland, with my husband. When I'm not writing, I enjoy pottering in the kitchen, walking in the countryside and beside the sea, and lingering over endless cups of coffee in my favourite cafes. I have a long list of books waiting to be written, from romance to mystery and beyond.​​
